This week we are going back to where it all started with a special re-release of my first ever interview with former Executive Chef, best-selling author, and motivational speaker, Jeff Henderson.

From convicted drug dealer to Executive Chef at one of the most iconic and elite hotels on the Las Vegas strip, Jeff talks openly and honestly about his journey from the streets to the stove and shares his recipe for success.

This episode has always been a source of inspiration for me, and as I have challenged you to create your own Mojo Manual this season – I’ve been creating my own alongside you. For me, a big part of understanding what keeps me motivated is looking back at how far I’ve come.

When I reflect on my journey throughout the five seasons of this podcast, I vividly remember the sheer exhaustion I felt after recording this episode with Jeff. I immediately crawled into bed and spent the next two weeks dreading the moment I would have to listen to the recording. My inner critic went to town and I had to fight through a lot of self-doubt to put the episode out.

The encouragement and support I received from my crew and early listeners gave me the momentum I needed to get through Season One. With each episode, I took small steps forward and learned how to become a better interviewer and improve the podcast.

Now, two years later, and with five seasons of the podcast under my belt, those small steps are now the backbone of my personal Mojo Manual – which I’m hoping to share with you at the end of this season!

In the meantime, I hope this conversation provides you with the inspiration to take the small steps needed to create the life you want to have.
